What is your primary product or service?
Our primary product is original and limited-edition art by Laurence Chandler; services included commissioned art and picture framing.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Laurence Chandler has always been passionate about art. Naturally gifted as an artist, he was awarded an art scholarship and earned a BFA from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) in Baltimore.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Professional custom framing and signature art style: As an Abstract Expressionist, Chandler creates mixed-media paintings using fabric, wire, acrylic, paper and found objects on paper and canvas. His paintings are well-crafted works, characterized not only by careful attention to color, form, line and composition, but also highly improvisational and spontaneous techniques. His paintings, like free-form jazz and poetry, suggest human emotions, a narrative, experience or drama, and invite viewers to become interwoven in his art.
